He wasn't backed by legions
and He never held a sword,
how could anyone be that powerful
to change existence with a word?
He wasn't so black and
He wasn't so white
He was somewhere in the middle
to be just right.
His voice drew the children
as He took them by the hand
His voice was profound
and He gave universal command.
He'd perform an individuals miracle
and ask that it not be shared
He came to save all mankind
but that single moment was only theirs.
Trust Jesus for salvation
and He will be with you;
He is here, he is real
and He's not through...
